Welcome to the Union City Area School District Website

Students need to walk on sidewalks where they are available.   In winter, snowy and icy conditions make it extremely dangerous for children to be walking on the streets.  If no sidewalk is accessible, students should walk single file on the side of the street facing oncoming traffic.

For families of students in grades 6th-12th, please be aware that "Parachute" style pants will not be considered compliant with our Middle/High School dress code.

This year’s state mandated school physical and dental exams are scheduled as follows:

Physical Exams (grades K,6,11) will be done February 25, and March 12, 2015

Dental Exams (grades K,3,7) will be done March 20, 2015

If your child has had a recent physical or dental exam, the health office needs to have the results on file.  The forms may be faxed from the health provider’s office to the school health office.  Please refer to the Nurse’s Office  on this page to seek the proper form and fax number.

If the school has no physical or dental on file by the above  dates, your student will receive the school exam.

Please contact the nurse at your student’s building with any questions or concerns.
