Union City Middle/High School enjoys a rich choral tradition consisting of five different Ensembles and five concerts each school year.Choral students travel to major cities bi-annually to enjoy current Broadway musical productions in major cities traveling this spring to New York City to see “Mama Mia.”
The middle school and high school students produce similar musicals at the school: in 2008, middle school students produced the Broadway Junior Version of Disney’s “Aladdin,” and high school students produced “Grease – The School Version.”
Our annual Sausage and Cheese Fundraiser assists us in being able to provide our singers with the updated curricular material and technological equipment.
Five new members were inducted into the high school’s Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter #4233, for a total of 17 academic and musically talented members. Tri-M supports school and community projects including raising money and collecting for the local food bank, and providing manpower support for Union City Foundation projects. |
