Attention all students planning on attending Prom:  Friday, April 26th is the last day to RSVP, purchase tickets, and/or submit guest forms.  Don't forget!  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Ms. Martin.  Thank you.


Boys Basketball:  Any interested boys in grades 6-11 who would like to play basketball next winter please report to the LGI TODAY, at 1:30 p.m.

Wrestling Cheerleaders:  Please bring in your uniform to the main office.


Seniors:  Please see Mrs. Dylon in the office to confirm names and future plans for graduation.

Prom to Dawn:  Ticket Pre-Sale starts May 3, during lunch, $6 single/$10 couple.  All pre-sale tickets will be entered to win one of 3 prizes!  Top PRIZE…..$50 CASH!!! Food, Games, and lots of amazing prizes; Powerbeats 3, Kayak, Xbox ONE X Bundle, 4 Dell Laptops, Tv’s, gift cards, and more.  Lots of Food and Games, including a Mechanical Bull.  Come to the main office to get an informational packet with the mechanical bull waiver.


Juniors interested in running for High School Student Council President and Vice-President for the 2019-2020 school year are to get an application from Ms. Gray in Room 307 or Mrs. Conti in Room 321.  The due date for submitting the applications has been extended to Wednesday, April 24.


The High School Student Council will be sponsoring a Powder Puff Flag Football Game on Saturday, May 18.  Any Junior or Senior girl that is interested in playing please see Mrs. Conti, Mrs. Gray, or Mrs. Himrod in the high school office. Any Junior or Senior boy interested in being a cheerleader for this game please also see them.

Attention Sophomores and Freshman: if you would like to help run the Powder Puff Flag Football Game to help raise money for Student Council please see Mrs. Conti as well.


Freshman and Sophmores:  Please pay your class dues in the front office as soon as possible.

Attention Students if you still owe money on your yearbook see Mrs. Mumau before the yearbooks come in.  


The Flagship Niagara Tall Ship Summer Camp is offered throughout the summer, ages 10-14. Come to the front office to get more information.


Penn State Behrend College for Kids and Sports Camps information is in the front office.


New credit union scholarships available in the guidance office.


10th and 11th grade Talent Search students that are interested in attending the summer camp at Penn State Behrend can pick up an application packet in the guidance office.


Job Fair at Great Lakes Manufacturing on April 27th from 8-11:00 a.m. Openings now available! 


Attention Students age 16-19 who are looking for summer work: The Erie County Summer Jobs & More (JAM) program will be holding an application/orientation meeting at UCHS Large Group Room on Thursday, April 25th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.mThis is a summer jobs program for students meeting low income and other barriers to work criteria. If you are interested you must see Ms. Reynolds or Mrs. Dawson in the Guidance Office for information about the eligibility and document requirements that you must take to the meeting.


Penn State Master Gardener Program Scholarship Application is available for an Erie County resident who is enrolled in a horticulture program, environmental science, landscape architecture and/or design at an accredited institution. Deadline is July 2.


GANNON UNIVERSITY is having a College Fair on May 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Hammermill Center. 


The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available for seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education in a 2 year or less degree or certificate. Deadline is June 15th. See the guidance office.


The US Census Bureau is in the process of accepting applications for the 2020 Census. The jobs start this summer in June/July. These are jobs working in the field and the pay is $16 an hour plus 58 cents a mile. Must be 18 years old. See the guidance office for more information. 


Camp Frog is looking for interested graduating seniors to become a camp counselor for one of their camps during June. See the guidance office for information. 


Attention Juniors and Seniors there is a youth development and life skills course available for free. Speakers will present on a number of topics, including: health, education, landing a job, income, budgeting, credit, future home, setting goals, and family. Please see the guidance office for information if interested. 


Camp Cadet information is available in the guidance office for interested boys and girls ages 13 to 15. This is a great camp ran by the Pennsylvania State Police at Allegheny College from June 16th through June 21st. 


Don't forget to ask the Guidance Office to send a copy of your High School Transcripts to any college to which you have applied.  When you have been accepted to a school or branch of service, please let Ms. Reynolds know along with a copy of your acceptance letter.
