Preparing for next year!
Check out these helpful Title I resources to help your child prepare for the next grade-level:
Grade Level Family Guides: These grade-level digital packets (K-12) help parents and caregivers know what mathematics and literacy skills and competencies students will be working on in the next grade-level; each guide includes grade-level resources, websites, and suggestions for activities to prepare your child for the next grade-level. A glossary of educational terminology and math and reading concepts is included!
Keep reading all summer!
If you're looking for a variety of ways to read stories for FREE at home this summer, check out some of these websites:
Storyline Online: This is a comprehensive literacy website featuring read-alouds and free supplemental curriculum resources.
Starfall's Parent-Teacher Center: Our students love Starfall, and you can download free read-aloud books, worksheets, games, and more on their Parent-Teacher Center.
Read to Me International: This site includes everything from virtual literacy nights and events to recorded read-alouds, resources, and more!
Don't forget your Summer Reading Log!
Reading just six books can help stop the summer slide! Students who read six books over the summer, and return their summer reading log are able to win school-pride incentives. If your student has lost their reading log, please contact the school and pick up another.

Have a great summer, Bears; we'll see you next year!
