Union City High School

Juniors and Seniors traveled to Washington D.C. on April 12th & 13th. Students had the opportunity to visit the Capitol Building, the Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport, and several monuments throughout the National Mall. They also made trips to the Botanical Gardens and Holocaust Museum. Finally, students visited the home of George Washington at Mt. Vernon and participated in a wreath laying ceremony. It was a great opportunity for our students to get a personal look at the history of the United States and experience many of the great things our nation's capital has to offer. A huge thank you to Mrs. Holmes, Mrs. McNulty, and all of the chaperones that assisted in making this trip a wonderful experience for our students!
