The Queen Crowning Ceremony will take place on January 20th at halftime of the Boys Varsity Basketball Game. The King Crowning Ceremony will take place at on January 22nd at 5:30 prior to the start of the Girls Varsity Basketball Game.

Union City Area School District is once again participating in Tulips for Teachers. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Support a great cause and show a teacher you care!

The senior class had the opportunity to decorate Christmas cookies and get their photos taken with Santa. Senior Class Advisor, Mrs. Holmes, organized the holiday themed event as a continued celebration for the Class of 2026 and their senior year.

Friday, December 12th is the last day for students to buy a Yearbook. Students can see Mrs. Mumau to place their order. Cost is $20 for Middle School Yearbooks and $60 for High School Yearbooks.

We are so excited to kick-off Year #2 of our PaTTAN Developing Future Special Educators Grant and our UCASD Careers in Special Education Exploration Program! Last year, we hosted a speaker series so that interested students could learn about a host of opportunities in the special education pathway. This year, students in Grades 9-12 are invited to sign up to participate in another round of exciting career learning opportunities, which will include everything from field trips to colleges/universities with special education programs, job shadowing experiences, and more presentation opportunities with professionals from the field.

Students should check their email for a copy of the "UCASD Careers in Special Education Exploration Program Participation Form/Interest Form" from Mrs. Dell and should complete the interest form before December 1 .

Attention all Junior and Senior Parents!! On Wednesday, November 19th, Union City will be hosting a Financial Aid Night at 5:30pm in the High School LGI. All junior and senior parents and guardians are welcome to attend for the first hour for a presentation containing valuable information regarding financial planning for college. At 6:30pm, senior parents and guardians can stay to fill out the FAFSA with our local FAFSA expert. Students can sign up in the high school office.
