The Union City 8th graders had a wonderful time on their Washington DC field trip this year. While in DC, students visited the White House, Ford's Theater, The US Capitol Building, Monuments, and several different Museums. The trip concluded with a tour around Arlington National Cemetery, the 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon Building, and a visit to the African American History Museum. The students were amazing and learned a lot about our Nation's history.

Congratulations to the Champion 6th grade boys basketball team! The boys have played great this season and have won two tournaments. One in Seagertown and one in Maplewood. Great Job.

As we inch a little closer to Spring, we wanted to share the dates for the upcoming PSSA and Keystone exams taking place in April and May. In addition to the testing dates and the available make-up days for any students who are absent, this handout also provides you with which grade-levels take which PSSAs and which high school courses are Keystone capstone courses for those exams. Check it out, and reach out to your School Assessment Coordinator if you have any questions!

Union City MS students get to enjoy an activity period once a month. Students can play sports and games as well as explore artistic outlets like bracelet making and diamond art. It's a great opportunity for our kids to meet like minded peers and just hang out and have fun.
