Laptop Borrowing Program

Laptop Borrowing Program

ConnectUC addresses a critical need by increasing access to technology for those facing economic barriers to broadband adoption. The program will make the devices, which are HP EliteBooks, available to the community through two avenues: 1) a structured lending program, which will allow participants to borrow devices from the District for 90-day increments at no-cost and 2) regularly scheduled community "open lab" nights.  The district will begin community outreach in May and early June, will start loaning the first round of devices during its soft launch of 10-20 devices in mid-June, and then will prepare the remaining lending devices and computer labs for the kick-off to the 2025-2026 school year.

To learn more about the Laptop Borrowing Program, check out the flier below and email Mrs. Stacey Dell at sdell@ucasd.org to get on the list!
