The Union City Area School Board of Directors regularly reviews its School District Policies. All active school district policies can be found by clicking here.  

The School Board is reviewing district policies 249. Bullying/Cyberbullying, last revised on August 12, 2021, and 805.2-AR-0. School Security Personnel Training, adopted on October 13, 2022. It is considering revisions to the following policies: 222. Tobacco and Vaping Products, 323. Tobacco and Vaping Products, 707. Use of School Facilities, 227. Controlled Substances/Paraphernalia, and 351. Controlled Substance Abuse. New policy 815.1. Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education is being considered.

A Special Voting Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024. The purpose of the meeting is to consider motions regarding co-curricular and personnel. This meeting will commence following the preceding Committee of the Whole, which starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle/High School Large Group Instruction room. Public participation is encouraged and always welcome.
