The 4th graders recently visited the Drake Well Museum in Titusville, famously known as the birthplace of the oil industry. During the trip, students explored the historical site where oil was first successfully drilled, gaining insight into its impact on local history and the world. Engaging exhibits and hands-on activities allowed them to learn about the early days of the oil industry, machinery used, and the pioneers behind it all.
