Union City Area School District

Eighth graders in Mrs. Knauff’s class participated in the Shark Tank this month.  Students worked in groups to come up with a sales pitch to the sharks to try and strike the best deal for their “inventions/companies”.  They had to come up with an idea, mock up a design, build a prototype, and pitch their final product.  The kids had a great time and learned a lot about marketing and entrepreneurship.
