Talent Show

The Middle High School stage came alive with talent and excitement as Union City Elementary School hosted its 17th annual February Follies on Saturday, February 22nd. Student performers performed for their families, teachers, and community members. The line up featured students in all grades, from Kindergarten to 5th Grade.

The February Follies has become a beloved tradition in the Union City community. Organizers at the Elementary School included: Mrs. Bailey Pituch, United Way Community School Director; Mrs. Jennifer Drayer, K4 teacher; Mrs. Julie Smith, Kindergarten teacher; Mrs. Christine Williams, Kindergarten teacher; Ms. Allie Trauner, 1st grade teacher; and a dedicated crew of staff/faculty volunteers. The event aims to provide a platform for students to express their creativity and build confidence in front of an audience.

This year’s talent show line up featured singers, dancers, gymnasts, comedians, and more! Over 30 brave students shared their talents on stage. This year’s event was hosted by Mrs. Jeannette Boyd, K4 teacher, and Dr. Andy Pitrone, 3rd grade teacher. It was an entertaining night for families and community members alike!

Proceeds from the February Follies go to the Union City Area School District Foundation. Those funds benefit our school community in the form of student scholarships and grants for teachers.
