Thanks to a connection with Mrs. Dell, our 4th grade students were able to visit the Tom Ridge Environmental Center for a lesson on native birds from the Presque Isle Audubon Society. This is the second year our 4th grade has had the chance to participate in this event! Students made bird feeders, learned how to use binoculars, identify bird sounds, and measure/compare wingspans. The students enjoyed their trip!
