Union City Area School District

This is the 4th year that Parker has organized a volunteer day to help with some of the landscaping heavy lifting at UCASD elementary school. Today, Parker had 25 volunteers participate in the project! They came from both the machining plant and the assembly plant here in town. United Way purchased mulch from Erie County Landscaping and the volunteers had the courtyard weeded and mulched in under an hour. About 3.5 yards of mulch were moved into the courtyard. The other 1.5 yards were moved to the front entrances after weeding. The crew was treated to some pizza courtesy of the United Way.  Bailey Pituch did a great job organizing this community event on behalf of the United Way.
