Attention UC Graduating Seniors & Community Members:

The Corry Higher Education Council and EC3 have partnered up to offer two FREE courses taught in the Corry Higher Education Council Building this April and May. Students who may be considering these courses will need to fill out the FAFSA form but will not need to borrow money to attend. The Higher Ed Council is hosting two information sessions for FAFSA Completion.

EC3 is hosting the first financial aid information session. This will take place on March 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM.
No need to register. Stop in to the Corry Higher Education Council to learn more!

Students and parents are welcome to attend our Financial Aid Night on March 25, 2026, to learn about the different types of aid that are available. This free information session will be held at the Corry Higher Education Council on March 25, 2026, from 6p-7:30p. **Pre-registration is required by visiting www.corryhied.org or by calling 814-664-9405.

UCHS has 3 Robotics teams heading to States this year! The teams are PLUH, Craig, and Ratthew Mussell, which consist of the following students:

The 18th Annual February Follies at Union City Elementary School was a wonderful celebration of student talent, creativity, and school spirit. This much anticipated talent show showcased the impressive abilities of our elementary students while bringing families and community members together for an evening of fun and entertainment. In addition to highlighting the confidence and hard work of our young performers, the event proudly served as a fundraiser for the UCASD Foundation, supporting programs and opportunities that enrich learning across the district. February Follies continues to be a cherished tradition that reflects the heart and pride of our school community.

Athlete of the Week!

Ellie Hunter has been nominated for the Erie Times-News Athlete of the week for her performance against Mercer on Saturday. Ellie led the Lady Bears with a game high 14-points in the 41-36 win over the Mustangs. In a season of firsts for the Lady Bears Basketball team, the win secured 3rd Place in District 10 and a matchup at Penns Manor in the PIAA Playoffs.

States are here!

After a successful weekend, Union City is going to be well represented at a few PIAA State Tournaments!

Van Ward will be competing for the gold in Hershey for the Wrestling team. Starting on Thursday at 9, Van will compete to bring a medal back to Union City for the first time since 2020.

Today Union City was able to celebrate student-athletes who are representing Union City in post-season action this week!

Alena Urbanowicz will be swimming the 50 Free at the District 10 Championships at Spire Academy in Geneva, OH.

Rylen Sterling, Easton Betcher, Rian Moore, Wade Sterling, and Keegan Kucnik will be competing at Jr. High Wrestling States.

Van Ward, David Dominguez-Ashton, Kane Gregor, and Josh Mitcham will be wrestling at the Northwest Regional Tournament, looking to secure a place at states.

Our Girls Basketball team will be taking on Mercer on Saturday at Meadville (12:00 PM) looking to take 3rd place in District 10. This game will determine seeding for the PIAA State Playoffs.
