First Chapter Fridays
You cannot judge a book by its cover, but you can judge a book by its first chapter. Mrs. Murphy has continued with First Chapter Friday for her 6th grade classes again this year. Mrs. Amy Webber was a recent guest reader.
The Middle School has been working hard on their Math skills. Students compete against each other in fast paced highly engaging math games online. The students pictured here were the math champions of the last competition. Congratulations to Gracie Warner, Landon Moss, Dylan Kuberry, and Josiah Shout.
A Walk of Champions was held on October 31st for Ava Reagle and Josh Mitcham prior to their departure to the State Cross Country Meet in Hershey.
UCASD Elementary School has been busy planning the Veteran’s Day assembly on November 11th. We are excited to learn about veterans as well as thanking them for their service.
