Our 1st VEX Robotics Tournament at Union City High School is in the books. A HUGE thank you to everyone that made this event possible, including our Robotics Advisor, Mr. Joshua Mumau, and our many volunteers and event sponsors. Teams from all over the region competed for a host of awards, including the championship title. Union City’s Dinosaurs & Tacos, Crimson Gear, Walle, and Claw-Bert held their own throughout the competition. Congratulations to Dinosaurs & Tacos for receiving the Judges Award, and Congratulations to Crimson Gear for reaching the Semi-Finals--an impressive feat with 26 teams participating. Now, we anxiously await to hear which teams are advancing to States. #GoBears #VEXRobotics

We value your input! Every three years, UCASD conducts a comprehensive review of our programs and offerings as part of the statewide Comprehensive Planning process. Throughout the past few weeks, our Steering Committee, made up of teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents from all levels, met to conduct a needs assessment and develop our 2025-2028 UCASD Comprehensive Plan. That plan is now posted on our website for your review and input. Click this link to check it out: https://www.ucasd.org/o/union-city-sd/page/comprehensive-planning
