Good afternoon! We want to wish the BEST of luck to all students in Grades 3-8 on tomorrow's PSSA Mathematics assessments! Students will take the mathematics assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Students in Grades 5 & 8 will also take the PSSA Science assessments on Thursday and Friday of this week. That will conclude PSSA testing for the year, other than any students completing make-up exams the following week. Spring Keystones for students enrolled in English 10, Biology, and Algebra 1 will take place in May. Congratulations Trent Parkhurst! Trent was the winner for the annual Allstate driving competition. Trent received a trophy and $1,000 for his efforts.
Congratulation Daniel McNulty! 2nd place winner in the Allstate Insurance driving competition. Daniel received a nice trophy and $500.
Congratulations to Trevin Capela. Trevin will be attending Mid-Atlantic Christian University in the fall, and will be playing baseball. A signing ceremony was held for Trevin and his family/teammates yesterday after school.

It's AMP Lab Day #2 here at UC! Our Penn College of Technology Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship students from UCASD and North East SD worked on several lab activities--one of which challenged them to build and test their own battery-operated motors. Dr. Peter Kuvshinikov from PennWest Edinboro led today's session, and our friends at Snaptite joined us as an industry partner to discuss careers in manufacturing right here in NWPA. Our students asked fantastic questions and excelled at today's activities. #GoBears
