The Corry Higher Education Council and EC3 have partnered up to offer two FREE courses taught in the Corry Higher Education Council Building this April and May. Students who may be considering these courses will need to fill out the FAFSA form but will not need to borrow money to attend. The Higher Ed Council is hosting two information sessions for FAFSA Completion.
EC3 is hosting the first financial aid information session. This will take place on March 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM.

On March 12th, Union City wrestler Van Ward committed to continue is academic and athletic career at Mercyhurst University. Van was joined by family, friends, coaches, and teammates to celebrate this great achievement.

Ellie Hunter has been nominated for the Erie Times-News Athlete of the week for her performance against Mercer on Saturday. Ellie led the Lady Bears with a game high 14-points in the 41-36 win over the Mustangs. In a season of firsts for the Lady Bears Basketball team, the win secured 3rd Place in District 10 and a matchup at Penns Manor in the PIAA Playoffs.
